First CCHR blog now online

On 22 September 2016 CCHR launched its first blog post in a bi-weekly series organized by the PhD community with the aim of connecting its current research to the broader public sphere.

Congrui Qiao’s blog, “Duality or Complementarity? The Political and Legal Orientations of the Chinese Petitioning Mandate” discusses the intricacies of the Chinese ‘letter-and-visit’ bureau to deal with pubic complaints and grievances.

The blog series can be accessed here on the CCHR website. To keep abreast of the series, follow us on Facebook.
